IHC Hears Nawaz's Plea On Clubbing Of References

Islamabad High Court rejected former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's plea seeking stay order against the ongoing trial in National Accountability Court.

The court however, issued notices to the national accountability bureau in Sharif's plea for clubbing three- references into one.

The court sought reply by Monday.

A division bench of Islamabad High Court comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the petitions.

In his application, Nawaz Sharif's counsel Azam Tarar said accountability court's verdict was given in haste and disregarded the earlier Islamabad High Court verdict.
