PSX Ends Low : Short-Lived Optimism At PSX

The optimistic sentiments at Pakistan Stock Exchange proved to be short lived as the indices dripped lower and lower all day long.

The Benchmark K.S.E-100 index breached the 34,000 mark while volumes contracted further. Foreign Investors offloaded stocks worth 1.83 million U.S. Dollar on Wednesday.

Depleting by 444.12 points the benchmark K.S.E-100 recorded its intraday low of 33,836.97 passing the 34,000 thresholds. The index washed away 382.53 points ending the day at 33,898.56.

The K.M.I-30 index declined by 657.48 points settling at 54,200.07. While, the K.S.E all share index closed at 24,589.99 after losing 223.34 points.
