US President Confirms To Meet PM Imran Khan & Modi
U.S. President Donald Trump will be discussing tensions between Pakistan and India during his upcoming meetings with Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in the United States this month.
In reply to a question before his departure to Texas, U.S. President confirmed meetings with Pakistani and Indian leaders.
Trump said some progress has been made with regards to the tensions in the subcontinent after India revoked autonomy of parts of Kashmir under its occupation and hoped for further easing of tensions in the coming days.
President Donald Trump in the past offered to mediate between India and Pakistan to resolve the crisis which emerged after 5th august actions of India.
India has so far resisted all efforts for mediation. However, Trump insists he is ready to play any part to deescalate situation if both sides agreed.
