Qureshi Calls Japanese Foreign Minister

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi today called his Japanese counterpart Taro Kono and apprised him on the human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir and regional peace and stability.

Qureshid talked about India's unilateral actions in Occupied Kashmir and their implications for the region.

He said India wants to change the demography of Occupied Kashmir. He said the occupied territory in under continuous curfew since August 5, resulting into shortage of food and medicines.

The Foreign Minister said the deployment of nine hundred thousand troops in Occupied Kashmir shows that India wants bloodbath in the territory.

The Japanese Foreign Minister said his country believes in supremacy of law and upholding of human rights. He said Japan has kept a close watch on the situation.
