Former Finance Minister and senior PTI leader Asad Umar while speaking in the National Assembly termed last PPP government disastrous for Pakistan's economy.

He said those who plundered the national exchequer are now making hue and cry as they face probe for their deeds.

Responding to the points raised by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari the other day in the house about the performance of PTI government, Asad Umar said in the PPP era, growth rate remained 0.4 percent, inflation 12.3 percent and budget deficit seven percent.

Asad Umar said the present government has taken difficult decisions with good intention to put the country on the path of sustainable growth trajectory.

Asaid Umar said he is confident that Pakistan will emerge strong from current situation.

PPP leader Khursheed Shah while defending the performance of his party's government said that various incentives were given to the poor and middle sections.

He said the PPP government took bold measures against terrorism.

BNP leader Sardar Akhtar Mengal said that his party and the government had on six points for the resolution of the problems of the people of Balochistan but no progress was made on any single point.
