Quetta Explosion: Acting President, PM Condemn Quetta Blast

Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif have condemned the blast at Quetta Railway Station, expressing their grief over the loss of precious lives.

Acting President Gillani ordered immediate provision of medical assistance to the injured.

He said terrorists were enemies of humanity who targeted innocent people, and expressed the resolve to completely eradicate terrorism.

The Acting President prayed for the martyred and early recovery of the injured people.
He also offered his condolences to the bereaved families.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed that medical aid should be provided to the injured on priority.
He also sought an investigation report of the incident from the Balochistan Government.

He said terrorists will pay a price for this heinous act, adding that the Government and Security Forces were committed to eliminating terrorism.

He prayed for the departed souls and swift recovery of the injured people, and also offered his condolences to the bereaved families.

Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti condemned the explosion at Quetta Railway Station, saying that terrorists were targeting innocent people, including woman and children.

The Chief Minister further said those who target innocent people did not deserve sympathy, adding that they will pursue the terrorists and ensure that they face justice.

He vowed to eliminate terrorism from Balochistan.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also condemned the bomb blast and expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives.

He said we are one nation and will foil the nefarious designs of the terrorists.

Information Minister Atta Tarar has also condemned the Quetta blast.
