Earlier, Pakistan Captain Fatima Sana won the toss and elected to bat.
Batting first Pakistan Women were bowled out for 116 runs in 20 overs.
Fatima Sana remained top scorer with 30 runs. She hit three fours and one six. Nida Dar made 23 while Omaima Sohail scored 18 runs.
For Sri Lanka Women, Udeshika Prabodhani, Sugandika Kumari and Chamari Athapaththu took three wickets each.
In reply Sri Lanka women scored 85 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs.
Nilakshika Silva remained top scorer with 22 runs while Vishmi Gunaratne made 20 runs.
For Pakistan Women, Sadia Iqbal bagged three while Fatima Sana, Omaima Sohail and Nashra Sandhu took two wickets each.
Fatima Sana declared player of the match.
Pakistan women will now face arch rival India in their second match on Sunday in Dubai.
