The Counter Terrorism Department officials conducted an Intelligence-Based Operation to arrest terrorists near Nankana Sahib interchange, Lahore.

According to CTD spokesperson, during the exchange of fire between CTD personnel and terrorists, three terrorists were killed by the firing of their own colleagues.

He said two terrorists escaped during the exchange of fire while three hand grenades, three detonators, safety fuse wire, two rifles, bullets and explosives were seized from the terrorists.

Search operation is going on to arrest the escaped terrorists, who were planning a major attack in Lahore.
