A ceremony was held in honor of Olympian Arshad Nadeem at Governor House Lahore.

Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider presented a cheque of Rs 150 million to Arshad Nadeem on behalf of President Asif Ali Zardari.

Addressing the ceremony, Sardar Saleem Haider said that national hero Arshad Nadeem raised the flag of Pakistan all over the world.

Youths like Arshad Nadeem are the pride of the nation. He hoped that Arshad Nadeem would continue to shine the name of the country in the future.
