South Africa defeated the west indies by 40 runs in providence to win the second cricket test and wrap up the two-game series after a drawn opener.
On the third day of test, South Africa resumed their second innings at 223 for five. They were bundled out for 246 as their last five batters added just 23 runs.
In reply chasing 263, West Indies were bowled out for 222 runs in their second innings.
South Africa scored 160 while west indies made 144 runs in their first innings.
Wiaan Mulder declared player of the match while Keshav Maharaj named player of the series.
