On International Women's day eight women around the globe Helen Mirren, Kylie Minogue, Viola Davis, Shania Twain, and German-Iranian stand-up comedian Enissa Amani have been named Barbie role models by US Toymaker mattel.

According to Mattel's senior vice President and doll designer Kim Culmone, eight women around the globe who are shaping the future through their inspiring stories have each received a look-alike Barbie to celebrate the doll's 65th birthday.
