ICC Under-19 World Cup: Pakistan Qualify For 2024 U19 World Cup Semis

Pakistan qualify for the 2024 ICC u19 world cup semi-finals after beating Bangladesh by five runs in their second super six game in Benoni, South Africa.

Bangladesh under-19 skipper won the toss and opted to field. Rohanat Doullah Borson and sheikh Pervez Jibon destroyed Pakistani batting with four wickets each as Pakistan under-19 were bowled out for just 155 in 40.4 overs.

Arafat Minhas remained top scorer with 34 while Shahzaib khan scored 26 runs. Opener Shamyl Hussain and tail ender Ali Arshad scored 19 runs each.

In reply, Pakistani pacer Ubaid Shah rattled through Bangladeshi batting with match figures of 5 for 44 in 10 overs. Ali Raza took three wickets. Bangladesh were bowled out for 150 in 35.5 overs. Muhammad Shihab James remained top scorer with 26 while Rizwan scored 20 runs for Bangladesh under-19 team. Ubaid Shah of Pakistan under-19 was declared man of the match.
