Mamund-Bajaur Peace Cycling Race: Journey Of Peace Underway In Newly Merged Districts KP
A journey of peace is underway in the newly merged districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Mamund-Bajaur Peace Cycling Race was held with the collaboration of the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Cycling Federation, and Frontier Corps North.
The race featured the participation of 120 cyclists from all four provinces and Islamabad.
Participants took part in a challenging race covering a distance of 40 kilometers in the districts of Mamund and Bajaur.
The cycling race started from the Cadet College Mamund and concluded at the Nahaqi tunnel during the two stages.
Local cyclists from Mamund and Bajaur made their debut in the cycling race for the first time.
The purpose of the Mamund-Bajaur Peace Cycling Race was to promote awareness for the establishment of peace in the tribal regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and to encourage tourism in the area.
