Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said, nation is deeply saddened by rioters' attack on Radio Pakistan Peshawar building from where Pakistan’s independence was announced on 14th August 1947.

Addressing a ceremony during his visit to Radio Pakistan, Peshawar, the miscreants torched precious record of Radio Pakistan Peshawar as well as its historic building on 9th May.

He termed the vandalisms and torching of Radio Pakistan Building as an anti-state act and vowed to bring the culprits to justice.

The Prime Minister also directed to restore the building at the earliest and later, interacted with the Radio Pakistan employees.

Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was briefed about damage caused by miscreants. He will also hold meetings with KP political leadership.
