PTI leader and former federal minister Ali Amin Gandapur opened fire on police officials in Bhakkar after the cops stopped his vehicle at Dajal police post.

According to police Gandapur was heading to Dera Ismail Khan along with his friends and crossed the Dajal post at extremely high speed while drunk.

The cops stopped him and searched his vehcile as part of routine Cheking at Dajal post, situated at the crossing point between Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The police action enraged the pti leader who started firing at the cops and escaped. One policeman has been reportedly injured in the incident.

The district police officer arrived at Dajal post after the incident and reviewed the situation.
