Imran Khan Finally Appears In Toshakhana Case Today
After missing several hearings, PTI Chairman Imran Khan is set to appear before additional district and sessions judge Islamabad in Toshakhana case today.
Imran Khan will appear before the court of additional district and sessions judge Zafar Iqbal on the complaint of the election commission of Pakistan for allegedly concealing details of gifts in his assets declarations.
The judge issued non-bailable arrest warrants for the PTI Chief and rejected his plea to withdraw or cancel the arrest warrants.
As a last resort, Imran Khan filed a petition in Islamabad High Court, submitting a written affidavit that he would ensure his appearance in the case today.
The Islamabad High Court eventually suspended his arrest warrants to allow him to appear in the case.
