Case Registered Against PTI Leader On ECP's Complaint: ICT Police
Earlier, Islamabad capital territory police said case had been registered against Fawad Chaudhry on the complaint of a constitutional institution.
The statement came after the former federal minister was arrested from Lahore.
In a statement spokesperson of Islamabad capital police said the case was registered at police station Kohsar on an application by the secretary election commission of Pakistan.
The applicant said that Fawad Chaudhry threatened and bullied the Chief Election Commissioner and members of the commission in order to stop them from discharging their duties.
The applicant said that Fawad Chaudhry tried to create anger against the constitutional bodies and provoke public sentiments.
The Islamabad capital police said that legal actions is being taken on the application.
