Contempt Of Court Case Against Khan Imran Apologizes Over His Remarks, Court Asks For Affidavit

Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan apologized before the Islamabad High Court as the hearing started of a contempt of court case against him for controversial remarks about additional district and sessions judge Zeba Chaudhry during a rally in Islamabad on August 20.

Islamabad high court's larger bench headed by Chief Justice Athar Minullah heard the contempt of court case against PTI Chairman Imran Khan.

The court was set to frame charges against the former prime minister at today's hearing. However, Imran khan offered an apology at the outset of the hearing. The court directs Imran Khan to submit affidavit and adjourned the hearing till September 29.
