Pakistan, UK Share Views On Afghanistan : FM
Pakistan and Britain share views on Afghanistan as both the countries desire peace and stability in the war-ravaged country.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed these views during his meeting with a delegation of House of Commons select Committee for Foreign Affairs led by tom tugendhat and head of Defence Committee Tobias ellwood.
The Foreign Minister apprised the British Parliamentarians about emerging situation in Afghanistan.
Foreign Minister Qureshi underlined the need to support Afghanistan and called upon the International Community to extend help to avert an impending humanitarian crisis.
He urged the World to adopt a realistic approach with regards to Afghanistan.
The Foreign Minister also apprised the British Parliamentarians about ongoing use of brute force by the Indian Occupation Forces and gross human rights abuses in Illegally Occupied Kashmir.
The Foreign Minister said, Pakistan has released a 131-page dossier on Indian atrocities in the occupied territory which carries irrefutable evidence of Indian officers' involvement in war crimes.
On Pakistan-UK Relations, the Foreign Minister underscored the need to further promote strategic partnership.
