The Tokyo 2020 Paralympics kicks off today.

The event will feature exclusive athletes in action from around the world. The Paralympics have been restricted due to corona virus threats. The torch rally has also been restricted to a single event.

Games' organizers admitted that the Paralympics will be held "in the middle of a very difficult situation" with Hospitals in the host city over-stretched as Japan battles its worse wave of covid-19 infections, driven by the delta variant.
