U.S. President Joe Biden blamed social media platforms such as Facebook for allowing misinformation about Covid-19 to spread through their platforms and said they are killing people.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki also criticized the company for being lax on controlling the spread of misformation.

Facebook did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
