Pablo Carreno-Busta beat his Spanish Compatriot Carlos Taberner in straight sets at the second round of the Hamburg European open Tennis Tournament.

The second seed beat the 23 year old Taberner 7-5 and 6-3 breaking his opponent's serve five times en route to the win.

Carreno-Busta will play Dusan Lajovic in the quarter-finals.
