President Dr Arif Alvi said, ironclad Pak-China relations deepened with the passage of time and stood the test of time.

The President was speaking at an online reception organized by Chinese Embassy in connection with the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and China.

He extended gratitude to china for supplying COVID-19 vaccine. He underscored that china's scientific progress and poverty alleviation programme is worth following by Pakistan.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Nong Rong, said, China attaches great importance to development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

He said, bilateral relations was elevated to all weather strategic cooperative partnership during President Xi's visit to Pakistan.

The ambassador also noted that President Dr Arif Alvi visited China to offer support when china was fighting against COVID-19

Speaking on the occasion, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza said, Pakistan considers any threat to china as threat to Pakistan.

He said, Pakistan-China friendship is time-tested and is a testimony of closely knitted collaboration among all elements of national power.

General Nadeem Raza also hailed recent economic assistance received from China to avert looming economic crisis.
