Pakistan Tour To Zimbabwe

Pakistan were 103 without any loss in their first innings in reply to Zimbabwe's 176 on the opening day of first cricket Test in Harare.

Pakistani openers provide solid start after bowlers bundled out Zimbabwe batting in under 60 overs.

Imran Butt and Abid Ali shared unbeaten stand off 103 runs in final session.

Abid Ali was unbeaten on 56 with Imran Butt on 43 when the stumps were drawn.

Abid smashed 10 boundaries while Imran hit four fours.

Pakistan still trail by 73 runs with all ten wickets in hand.

Earlier, Zimbabwe captain Brendon Taylor won the toss and elected to bat.

Batting first Zimbabwe were bowled out for 176 runs in 60th over.

Roy Kaia remained top scorer with 48 runs while Donald tirIpano made unbeaten 28. Milton Shumba scored 27 runs.

For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Hasan Ali bagged four wickets each while Nauman Ali took one wicket.

Pakistan handed a Test debut to off-spinner Sajid Khan while Zimbabwe included Shumba, Kaia and Richard Ngarava for their first Tests.
