Pakistan Cricket Squad Arrives In Karachi

The South Africa home series starts on 26 January with a first Karachi Test and the national test squad has arrived in the metropolis from Lahore in a chartered plane to ensure health and safety of the players and supporting staff.

The group of 50 people has now technically entered the bio-secure bubble as they made their way to a hotel upon arrival in Karachi. The entire group will undergo a third round of testing before they are allowed to resume training on January 21.

Earlier all the players and player support personnel returned negative results for their second round of COVID testing.

National high performance center coaches Saqlain Mushtaq and Muhammad Yousaf have also left for Karachi with the team. Grant Bradburn is already in Karachi. These three coaches will keep an eye on players' performances in Pakistan Cup and will also keep a close watch on test squad's training sessions at the national stadium in Karachi.
