Pakistan One-Day Cup

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh and Central Punjab won their matches in the Pakistan Cup One Day Cricket Tournament in Karachi.

In the first match of the day, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa defeated Northern by five wickets.

Batting first northern were bowled out for 324 runs in 49.2 overs.

Opener Haider Ali remained top scorer with 95 runs while Rohail Nazir and Umar Amin scored half centuries.

For Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Irfanullah Shah bagged four while Mohammad Imran and Mohammad Wasim Jnr took three wickets each.

In reply Khyber Pakhtunkhwa achieved the 325-run target for the loss of five wickets in 48.2 overs.

Iftikhar Ahmed remained top scorer with 123 runs knock, he smashed 12 fours and three sixes.

Adil Amin scored unbeaten 93 with the help of five fours and four sixes.

For northern, Athar Mehmood took three wickets.

In other matches of the day, Sindh outplayed Balochistan by seven wickets while Central Punjab beat Southern Punjab by five wickets.
