Federal And Sindh Government Pledge To Work Together For Development Of Karachi
The Federal and Sindh government have pledged to work together for development of Karachi and provision of better facilities to its residents.
The commitment was made at the meeting of the coordination committee on implementation of development projects in Karachi.
The meeting was attended by Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar, Federal Minister Amin ul Haq, Chairman NDMA Lt General Akhtar Nawaz Satti and FWO officials.
Addressing a joint news conference ASAD umar said the Federal government will fulfill its responsibilities towards the development projects in Karachi.
He said a 101 billion rupee package is being finalized for the city.
He said encroachments have been cleared along the Gujjar and Mahmoodabad Nullahs and only 33 houses are left.
Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on this occasion said that we will work together to improve the infrastructure in Karachi.
He said the Nullah cleaning drive will be completed ahead of the next monsoon season.
Speaking on the occasion Federal Minister Amin ul Haq said all political parties need to join hands for the development of not only Karachi but the whole country.
