Afghanistan Ambassador to Pakistan met Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters, Rawalpindi.

Matters related to regional security situation, ongoing Afghan peace process, border management, defence and security cooperation were discussed.

Army Chief welcomed ambassador, expressing hope his services will help optimize Pak-Afghan bilateral ties.



Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider also met Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi.

They discussed situation along the line of control, India's Illegal Occupation of Kashmir and other matters of bilateral interest.

The Army Chief reiterates Pakistan's full support for the Kashmir cause and the people of Kashmir.
