Prime Minister Imran Khan said government is giving special focus on promotion of construction sector. Construction sector will generate employment opportunities.

Chairing a meeting to review progress on Naya Pakistan Housing project, Prime Minister Imran Khan said Naya Pakistan Housing project is of Vital importance. He said Govt allocated Rs 30 Bln for executing Naya Pakistan Housing project: Imran Khan directs to finalize recommendations of think tanks in consultation with Commercial Banks. He also directs formation of special cell for effective inter-departmental coordination and fast-track resolution of issues.

Chairman Naya Pakistan Housing Authority Lt Gen (r) Anwar Ali, Governor State Bank Reza Baqir and Former Finance Minister Shoukat Tareen attended the meeting through video link.
