Afghanistan: Over Twenty-four Taliban Killed In Various Areas

Over twenty-four Taliban militant have been killed and several others injured in various areas of Afghanistan.

In a statement, army official said eight Taliban were killed in a crackdown launched by security forces in restive Baraki Barak district of Logar Province.

Similarly, eight militants were killed in Taloka area of Kunduz Province in government forces operations.

A senior officer of border police force was killed in a bomb blast by Taliban in Southern Helmand Province.

Meanwhile, Taliban militants executed three fighters of Daesh group in Khostak valley of Jarm district in Badakhshan Province.

At least five more people including three children were killed elsewhere in the country.
