Test Cricket Returns To Pakistan : Sri Lanka To Play Two-Test Series In Pakistan Next Month

After One Day and T20 Tours, Sri Lankan Cricket team will visit Pakistan for the two test match series next month.

Pakistan will host a Test Series for the first time in ten years.

The two-match series will be played in Rawalpindi and Karachi, on December 11 and 19 respectively.

Following the success of the T20 tour earlier, a convinced Sri Lanka agreed to play in Pakistan again.

Sri Lanka Cricket Chief Executive Ashley de Silva said in a statement that they are pleased to confirm their return visit to Pakistan as, based on earlier visit, they are comfortable and convinced that conditions are suitable and conducive for Test Cricket.

He added that all Cricket Playing Countries should host International Cricket at home and in this relation they are happy to play part in complete resumption of International Cricket in Pakistan.

The two tests will be part of the World Test Championship, which is being played between the top nine teams of the World, culminating in a Final in June 2021.
