PM Chairs Economic Team Meeting
Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to constitute a special cell in the Ministry of Food Security to formulate an integrated policy on food security.
Chairing a meeting of Government's Economic team in Islamabad, the Prime Minister said, an integrated policy on food and security will not only help reduce supply-demand -gap but will also control prices of the essential commodities.
Imran khan stated that the government's concerted efforts helped in stabilizing Pakistan's Economy and restored confidence of the businessmen.
He said, the provision of relief to the common man is the top priority of incumbent government.
The Prime Minister said, the Federal Government will extend all possible support to the Provinces in enhancing their capacity in mining and exploration of Oil and Gas.
PM'S Advisor on commerce briefed meeting about the steps taken for the revival of Pakistan Steel Mills.
The meeting was also apprised on Tapi Gas Pipeline Project and establishment of Parco Coastal Refinery.
