Turkish Military Shells Northeastern Syria
Turkey's military launched an offensive in Hasakeh, Northeastern Syria on Monday evening, near the country's border with Iraq.
The United States began pulling troops back from the northeast Syrian border on Monday, effectively giving Turkey a green light to move into the area.
The Kurdish-Led Syrian democratic forces have spent years expanding its control across northern and eastern Syria, helped by the U.S.-led coalition against Islamic State, said it has been "stabbed in the back" by the U.S. Move.
In a twitter the Turkish Defence Ministry said all preparations for a possible military operation into northeastern Syria are completed.
Howitzers were positioned on Turkish side of the border across Syrian town of Tel Abyad a day after U.S. Forces had withdrawn from the area.
