Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi Has Urged The Global Leadership To Play Its Role In Resolution Of Kashmir Issue

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has urged the global leadership to play its due role in resolution of Kashmir issue.

In an interview with Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel, he said UN Security Council and US President Donald Trump can play their role in this regard.

Foreign Minister said the United States has great influence on India and it can ask New Delhi to resolve the Kashmir problem.

He said we are calling for third-party facilitation and mediation as things are not moving ahead bilaterally between Pakistan and India.

To a question, he said there are no chances of any dialogue with India in view of the illegal steps taken by the New Delhi regime on 5th of the last month to revoke special status of the Indian Occupied Kashmir.

The Foreign Minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the UN General Assembly session on 27th of this month, where he will highlight plight of the people of Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Meanwhile, addressing a public gathering in connection with Kashmir solidarity in Multan, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says Pakistan will continue to support the Kashmiris in their just struggle for right to self-determination.

He said Pakistan has raised the Kashmir issue at all international forums.
