Dr Hafeez Sheikh Addresses A News Conference
Advisor to Prime Minister on Finance, Revenue and Economic Affairs Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said the IMF delegation is making routine visit of Pakistan.
Addressing a news conference at press information department in Islamabad, Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said the government has set 2.4 percent target for economic growth and development.
Finance Advisor said owing to timely and effective measures, the government is likely to achieve growth target during current fiscal year.
He said the government is expected to generate 1000 billion rupees in non-tax revenue collection.
Finance Advisor said the number of tax filers have increased from 1.9 million to 2.5 million with increment of 6 percent.
Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh said the government is all-set to bring macroeconomic stability in the country.
