Pakistan Rejects Any Move By Israel To Annex Jordan Valley
Pakistan rejected any move by Israel to annex Jordan valley and declared it illegal and dangerous escalation.
Foreign Office Spokesperson Dr Muhammad Faisal said in his weekly briefing that Pakistan has supported the demand for an independent Palestinian state.
Dr Faisal said that Pakistan's policy on Israel is very clear, there is no such step in consideration at all to recognize the Jewish state.
The spokesperson dismissed media reports that claimed that the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia's foreign ministers, on their recent trip to Pakistan, had told the government that Kashmir was not a Muslim Ummah related issue and termed them “speculation.
He insisted that both officials had expressed solidarity with Pakistan and support for the Kashmir cause.
The spokesperson said that joint statement submitted by Pakistan during UN Human Rights Commission in Geneva was supported by most OIC member countries and the joint statement shows growing international disapproval of the Indian unilateral and illegal actions in held Kashmir.
When asked about United States President Donald Trump's recent reiteration of the offer to mediate between Islamabad and New Delhi, Faisal said that India was not ready.
On the issue of second consular access to Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav, the spokesperson said there is no second meeting of Jadhav with Indian High Commission officials under consideration so far.
