Trilateral Foreign Ministers Dialogue Concludes
China, Afghanistan , Pakistan trilateral foreign ministers dialogue has concluded in Islamabad.
At the conclusion of dialogue, Foreign Ministers of Pakistan,-China and Afghanistan, held press briefing in Islamabad.
Foreign Minister of Pakistan Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that regional connectivity, afghan peace process, security cooperation, and people-to-people contacts were discussed in trilateral dialogue.
He also mentioned that there has been considerable improvement in ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan and of course china is Pakistan’s trusted partner.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi emphasized that Pakistan has taken measures to secure border with Afghanistan.
During the press briefing, Foreign Minister of China Wang Yi said that trilateral dialogue has resulted in positive outcome and that china is looking forward to a negotiated peace settlement in Afghanistan.
He also reiterated that china will help in capacity building of Pakistan and Afghanistan in the fields of counter-terrorism and narcotics control.
Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Salahuddin Rabbani expressed satisfaction on the completion of first cycle of trilateral dialogue and said that Afghan government will continue to show commitment towards Afghan peace process.
He also mentioned that fight Against terrorism requires collective measures.
