Indian Occupied Kashmir Reels Under Siege As Clampdown Enters 14th Day

Residents of Srinagar city in India's northern Jammu and Kashmir continued to reel for a 14th straight day of clampdown due to movement restrictions and curfew-like situation today.

There was minimum vehicular movement seen in the markets this morning with shops still shut and tight security everywhere in the city.

Residents complained lack of access to medical facilities was of their biggest concern.

The severe movement restrictions and a total communications blockade was triggered by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's decision to withdraw special rights for Jammu and Kashmir state, home to nearly seven million people.
