Hamburg Open Tennis

Alexander Zverev and Pablo Carreno Busta moved onto to the semi-finals of the Hamburg Open Tennis Tournament.

Zverev got off to a rocky start, losing the first set 6-2 to Filip Krajinovic of Serbia.

Then in the second set, he was down 5-3 before rallying to win the next four games to take the set 7-5.

The second-seed rode the wave of a friendly crowd on home turf to dominate the third set 6-2.

Carreno also lost the first set to Fognini only to come back to win the second set 6-2.

Up 5-4 in the third set, Carreno failed to convert four match points.

Fognini held on to force a tiebreak, but finally fell 7-4 to send the Spaniard to the semis.
