Cabinet Meeting : No Convicted Person Will Be Allowed To Use Media

Federal Cabinet has expressed concerns over promotion of convicted persons and decided that none of them will be allowed to use Media.

Addressing a press briefing on Cabinet Meeting in Islamabad Federal Minister Shafqat Mahmood said former Defence Minister Khwaja Asif was serving in Foreign Organization during his tenure that was violation of his Oath.

Shafqat Mehmood said Interior Ministry has been directed to present detailed report on this violation.

Shafqat Mehmood said Asif Zardari made one hundred and thirty four Foreign visits during his tenure and visited Dubai fifty one times.

He said Nawaz Sharif spent 1.84 billion rupees on Foreign Tours in four years and visited London twenty four times in four years.

He revealed that Nawaz Sharif spent two hundred and twenty million rupees during London visits.

Talking about Prime Minister Imran Khan's visit to the United States he said Prime Mnister will visit US at invitation of President Trump.

Shafqat Mehmood said Prime Minister will stay at House of Pakistani Ambassador during his visit.

Federal Minister said Implementation Committee formed for institutional reforms.

He said cabinet also approved Appointment of Chairman Port Qasim Authority.

Several other important matters also came under discussion in the Cabinet Meeting.

The Meeting approved visa Policy for Qatari Citizens and also approved appointment of Pak-Iran Investment Company.

The Meeting discussed overall political and economic situation of the country.

The Cabinet also offered Fateha for martyred Deputy Collector Customs Abdul Quddus and prayed for his lofty status in the heaven.

The Cabinet paid tribute to the services of martyred Abdul Quddus.
