PM Addresses The Nation
Prime Minister Imran Khan has vowed to go after the "thieves who left the country badly in debt", said Pakistan is stable now and pressure to stabilize the economy has been relieved.
In his address to the nation, the Prime Minister announced to form a high-powered inquiry commission to probe into the 24000 billion Rupees loans acquired in the last 10 years.
He said that the commission will comprise of officials from inter-services intelligence, intelligence bureau, federal investigation agency, security and exchange commission of Pakistan and other departments.
The Prime Minister said PTI government will not succumb to any pressure and will hold accountability of all at all costs without giving any NRO.
The Prime Minister said Shahbaz Sharif and Asif Ali Zardari committed money laundering of billion of Rupees.
Imran Khan said first the opposition ruined the country through corruption and now they are making hue and cry.
The Prime Minister said the country fell into debt because of two NROs.
He said Nawaz Sharif and Asif Zardari came to an agreement that each would rule for five years and "not say anything to each other".
The Prime Minister said, Pakistan is on its way to become a great country and termed the current budget as a reflection of Pakistan's ideology.
He said, building new Pakistan is a gradual process and the PTI-led government is committed to achieve this target.
