New Addition At Santiago Zoo

The Santiago Buin Zoo in Chile presented one of its newest additions - a female Giraffe calf called "Gema."

At just one month old, the not-so-little girl, seen here with mother, Pretoria, is already 1.7 metres tall and weighs 120 kilos.

Gema was born on April 12 at dawn. The little girl's father is called Krugger.

When full-grown, an adult male giraffe can be up to 5.5 metres tall, making it the tallest land mammal on the planet.
