14 Martyred In Ormara Terrorist Attack

Fourteen people were martyred in a terrorist attack near Hangol National Park Ormara.

A Pakistan Navy spokesperson said Pakistan Navy personnel were among the martyred in the attack.

Levies sources said the firing incident took place near Bazai top this morning.

The bodies were shifted to Darmanjah Hospital Ormara. Soon after the shooting security forces rushed to the site and cordoned off the area.

Home Minister Balochistan Mir Zia Lango told journalists that teams have been formed to arrest the attackers. He expressed the hope that terrorists will be apprehended soon.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has strongly condemned the dastardly act of terrorism and vowed to bring the perpetrators to justice.

He has sought report into the incident and directed the authorities concerned to make every possible effort to identify and bring the elements behind this barbaric act book.

The Prime Minister also expressed his sympathies with the families of the victims.

President Dr. Arif Alvi also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives.

He said such attempts to spread mischief in the country cannot be succeeded.

Condemning the firing incident, Chief Minister Baluchistan has ordered stern action against the terrorists.

He said that enemies of peace are shedding the blood of innocent people at the behest of their foreign handlers.
