Pakistan-india Water Dispute Headway : Faisal Vawda
In a major breakthrough in pakistan-india water-related talks, India has finally agreed to fulfil its commitment of allowing Pakistani experts to inspects its hydropower projects on Chenab river basin.
The important development in Pakistan-India water dispute comes after federal minister Faisal Vawda's concerted efforts to agree India to resolve the issue.
Faisal Vawda in a statement said, Pakistan will send a three-member special team to India to inspect the projects and the directive for this purpose have already been issued.
The special team led by Indus water commissioner will inspect the Indian projects from 27th january to 1st of february.
The minister also welcomed Indian gesture and hoped India will also open up dialogue to resolve other issues.
