Legends Kaka, Figo Pledge To Develop Football In Pakistan
Football legends Portuguese Luis Figo and Brazilian Ricardo Kaka have vowed to help develop the "great promise" of football in Pakistan. The two soccer greats were warmly received at the Lahore airport coming from Karachi. Later both the stars took part in a ceremony in their honor that was attended by a large number of enthusiasts.
The two legends, visiting Pakistan as part of the world soccer stars tour, aim at grooming nascent talent through exhibition matches and coaching clinics.
The world soccer stars 2019 will see kaka and Figo-led sides play matches in Karachi and Lahore from April 26 and 29.
Figo said that he was "excited" to be in Pakistan, adding there is a great promise of football in Pakistan so we are here to help develop the game.
Kaka said the pair were "committed" to promoting football globally.
In an exclusive talk to PTV Sports football legend Ricardo Kaka said he feels like home after warm reception in Pakistan.
Luis Figo said that he would love to promote skills and techniques of football among Pakistan's young footballers.
