Karachi: The Emerging Asia Cup

Pakistan demolished Hong Kong by 225 runs in the inaugural match of the Emerging Asia Cup Cricket Tournament at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Batting first Pakistan scored 366 for 3 with Sahibzada Farhan 134 and Ali Imran 107 powering Pakistan to 366 in 50 overs. Khushdil shah also scored brisk 83 in achieving the imposing total.

In reply, Hong Kong folded for 141 runs with five of their batsmen unable to get into double figures.

Shahid Wasif resisted with 59 but in vain. Muhammad Ilyas grabbed five wickets whereas Khushdil Khan claimed two scalps.
