Abdur Rehman Announces Retirement
Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Abdur Rehman announced his retirement from international cricket with immediate effect.
He last played for his country back in 2014 against Sri Lanka in Tests and is still remembered for his heroics in the 2012 series against England. Pakistan had whitewashed the world number one England and Rehman had scalped 19 wickets in the three-match series.
Rehman finished his 22 test career just one short of a deserved hundred wicket mark, while he took 30 in 31 one-days and eight wickets in 11 twenty20 internationals.
Abdur Rehman will continue playing in the domestic arena.
