This was stated by Minister for Railways Khwaja Saad Rafique, Minister of State for information and broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb and MNA Daniyal Aziz while addressing a news conference in Islamabad this evening.
They said that Supreme Court's decision is binding on all including the prime minister.
Saad Rafique said that Imran Khan's conspiracy to remove the elected representatives has foiled once again.
He said Imran Khan made all the attempts to subvert the elected government in the country since from the very first day after the election.
He said all the efforts of Imran Khan including the sit-ins, Islamabad lock-down threat and attack on the national institutions have failed to yield his desired results.
He said the petitioners of the Panama Papers Case tried to influence the judges hearing the case.
Saad Rafiq said Imran Khan's prays to disqualify the Prime Minister, put Sharif family on ECL, NAB to start high profile cases, initiation of money laundering cases against Sharif family, re-examination of tax papers of Sharif's family have been dismissed by the apex court.
He said that Imran Khan and Asif Ali Zardari should focus on the development of their respective provinces instead of leveling baseless allegations against the popular government.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said today's judgment on Panama Papers clearly shows that Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is righteous and morally upright.
She said Nawaz Sharif is the only politician who presented himself and his three generations for accountability, rejecting any immunity he could have availed due to his position.
She said Imran Khan politicized and exploited this issue to abuse people, institutions, family and personality of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said baseless accusations of tax evasion, money looting, and corruption were leveled by PTI without any concrete proofs or evidence. However, Prime Minister exercised restraint and did not involve himself in any personal vendetta.
She said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has embarked on an ambitious journey to make Pakistan a developed, prosperous and advanced country.
Marriyum Aurangzeb said during the last four years, PTI failed to launch any development project in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Minister of State for Information said Prime Minister is the custodian of the votes given to him by people of Pakistan. She said Prime Minister will fulfill all the remaining promises he made to the people in the last year of his tenure.
MNA Daniyal Aziz said that Maryam Nawaz has been cleared in the case.
