Syrian Refugee In France Steps Into Fashion With Luxury Sneakers

Refugee Daniel Essa arrived in France in 2014 fleeing the war in Syria but now he's set to open his first shop selling his brand of luxury sneakers which have already seduced Hollywood.

The 30 year-old studied fashion in Syria and even had his own TV programme but left it all behind to settle in Lille, near the Belgian border, because he had a friend living in the city.

His first shop opens in the next two weeks though his shoes - whose average price is 390 US Dollars are already on sale in Beverly hill, Paris and Ajaccio.

His leather sneakers in a simple style without shoelaces, with only a big strip of stretchy fabric for decoration.
