Japan, U.S. Lockout Men's & Women's Halfpipe Podiums
Pyeongchang Olympic Gold Medalist Chloe Kim and Sochi Olympic Silver Medalist Ayumu Hirano claimed Halfpipe titles at the Burton U.S. Open Snowboarding championships.
With American Kim and Japan's Hirano leading the way with decisive victories, the two Countries locked out both the Men's and Women's Podiums.
On the men's side Hirano scored 89.62 to easily defeat countryman Raibu Katayama's 86.75 with American Scotty James third at 83.62.
Kim's score of 85.87 also gave her a clear win over second placed Countrywoman Maddie Castro's 82.99 while Japanese Rider Haruna Matsumoto placed third with 78.75.
